I am new with stocks.
Can somebody explain me how to check of an ETF is accumulating?
You can usually check the name. If it contains ‘dist’ near the end it can pay dividends, if it has ‘acc’ it is accumulating. It should also be mentioned in the investor document associated with the ETF.
Definitely. Either with the name of the ETF or the ISIN you can very easily search for its characteristics on the website Justetf.com. Their ‘overview’ also shows you if the ETF is distributing or accumulating. Distributing means they pay out dividends in cash. Accumulating means they collect dividends and reinvest this in the fund, which is reflected in its’ value. Below is an example. Hope this helps, good luck!
